“Dining Out in the Northwest™” represents a symbol of our unique Northwest cuisine, as well as a commitment to support for our local economies and communities. It is local independent restaurateurs, like you, who capture our community's flavor and unique personality. In addition, as hospitality professionals, you stimulate our local economy by creating jobs and patronizing other local businesses.
“Dining Out in the Northwest™” aims to educate and encourage the general public to sample the vast variety of our local cuisine more often. Through some collaborative efforts, we hope to leverage our commitment and resources to promote the type of dining experience that can only be provided by our local independent operators.
Industry publications repeatedly say that the proliferation of national restaurant chains are not only prevalent in big cities, but have also taken hold in local neighborhood dining.
